I was at supper with girlfriends last night and Wes and the girls were on their way home to find this in the corn field right next to our house. Per some of the neighbors, I guess it just cleared the roof tops. The whole street was down here on our corner looking on at the hot air balloon. Luckily for us we have a open space next to us for their emergency landing!

Oh my gosh! Stella and Porter would of been freaking out with excitment to see that landing next door to us! How cool! Glad that Wes and the girls got home in time to see it all unfold! :)
Major excitement in Waukee!! That is so cool that the girls got to see this up close!! Would of been interesting.
That is crazy! Would have been fun to watch....but not fun to be in the balloon making an emergency landing!
