We headed to Mt Ayr Saturday afternoon. Anna Leigh and Vada flew in Wednesday night. Mom, dad, AL and Vada came to DM on Friday afternoon. We had supper at Kayren's. Saturday morning we headed down to the Farmers Market. Mike and Kayren ran in the Dam to Dam. Was very wet and rainy on them. After the farmers market we all headed to MA for the weekend. AL brought back Hannah's b-day gift so she was excited to open the gift 2 months early. Hannah is into peace signs so she got two tops and two books. Mom and dad also had a cookout at the house Saturday night. Was a fun evening!

Hannah's last day of school was Friday, June 4th. She woke up in the morning to a present on the breakfast table. She got a new stamp set. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, yummy! She had a great last day of school. The elementary had a field day, she even got popsicles! Her teacher was wonderful. Hannah was very blessed to have such a wonderful teacher to start out her first year in school.

Kindergarten went on a field trip to LHF today. It was a perfect day for a field trip, great weather. Hannah's class was VERY well behaved! It has been awhile since I have been there myself, I too enjoyed the day.

Haydn won a guitar today at Adventureland. The girls went to Adventureland this morning with Grandma and Steve. I guess as they were leaving they stopped to play some games. Hannah tried her luck first but no success. So then Haydn gave it a tried and got it on the second try! We are now the proud owners of a real pink guitar!!

We headed over to Iowa City today. We ate lunch at the Vine and then headed up to the stadium! The girls posed for some pictures. We walked around alittle, it was beautiful weather to be outside! Haydn thought we were going to see a football game. She didn't understand where the players were?!

We got to meet Shawn Johnson tonight. Marcia is on the Board of Directors for the Chrysalis Foundation. They provide resources to support leadership and economic self-sufficiency of women and girls in Polk, Warren and Dallas Counties in central Iowa. Shawn was the guest speaker.

Today Hannah had a program to celebrate her finishing Kindergarten. They sang some songs that they sing daily. They had a cookies and lemonade for us also. She made a plate with her picture on it for us to keep and she got to bring home her Kindergarten portfolio! I of course shed some tears.

We broke out the slip n slide today after Hannah got home from school. The girls had a blast playing on it as you can tell!

Hannah lost one of her front top teeth today after school. I guess it got knocked last night while we were at a Birthday party. It has been loose for quite some time. Last night once we got home she worked on it for close to an hour. Then this morning she worked on it for 45 min or so. I told her teacher that it was loose and that Hannah would be probably playing with it all day and that maybe it would fall out at school. When I went to pick her up, Mrs Rutz said it was still there. So once we got home she worked in it until it came out, another hour! Can't wait till the other one comes out and then she will be talking funny!

The girls and I planted our flowers today. We usually do this on Mother's Day but this past week has been cold. Sounds like this week it will be warming back up. The girls had fun playing in the dirt and watering them.

Yesterday we had a girls day with pedicures. Mom, Kayren, Linda, the 3 little girls and I all got pedicures. Haydn was so cute, she sat so patiently waiting for her turn. Hannah got a peace sign on her big toes and Haydn got flowers on hers. They were very proud of her toenails. It was a fun afternoon with all the ladies!

We headed to Porter's last night to celebrate his 3rd birthday. We gave him a nerf gun, which Porter and I had fun playing with. He likes the color blue so he had a blue dinosaur cake. It was delicious!
