Kindergarten Celebration and Shawn Johnson

We got to meet Shawn Johnson tonight. Marcia is on the Board of Directors for the Chrysalis Foundation. They provide resources to support leadership and economic self-sufficiency of women and girls in Polk, Warren and Dallas Counties in central Iowa. Shawn was the guest speaker.

Today Hannah had a program to celebrate her finishing Kindergarten. They sang some songs that they sing daily. They had a cookies and lemonade for us also. She made a plate with her picture on it for us to keep and she got to bring home her Kindergarten portfolio! I of course shed some tears.

WOW!! The school year sure went fast! Love her dress!!! She looks so cute with her front tooth gone! Anxious to see her plate! Will be nice to have her home for the summer soon. Congrats, Polkadot!!
