Tonight we headed to Hilton Inn to celebrate Haydn's 3rd birthday with Marcia, Adam, Natalie, Eliott, Geoff, Jackie, Jim and Bev. We ordered pizza, swam, opened gifts and had a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Haydn got some fun new things. I think everyone had a great time. The kids had fun playing together.

Egg Hunt
I took the girls up to the YMCA tonight for a Easter Egg Hunt. It was divided into two age groups 4 and under and 5 and above. Neither one of the girls got many eggs. They aren't aggressive enough. Then we went inside to dyed eggs and see the Easter Bunny (Haydn didn't get close to him!) and had some snacks. They both had a good time. Glad it was nice enough they could have the egg hunt outside. It is to snow here on Sunday! UGH!!

Dirt Work
We came home from the YMCA to find the City working in our front yard. They are getting ready to widen the street for the new elementary school (the fall of 2010) they will be building. The girls have been most intrigued with the workers in our yard. They are turning off the water tomorrow from 9:00-3:00 to do work on the water valves. Hannah is bothered by this (not being able to use the faucet) for some reason. We have filled up pitchers of water to use tomorrow. So, we might have more entertainment tomorrow in the front yard.

Yes, it is Iowa.....
Woke up to it SNOWING! Yes, it is snowing, actual big flakes here. Today is to be 29 and tomorrow 51! So the snow that is accumulating shouldn't be here very long. It is actually pretty, and I can only say that because we haven't had snow for quite some time. Here are a few shots....
(update, it is now 10:10 and the snow on the deck is melting! VERY SHORT LIVED)!

Harlem Globetrotters
Marcia, Wes, girls and I went to see the globetrotters tonight at Wells Fargo! It was a lot of fun. We had really good seats also. Hannah and I were matching tonight. She picked out my outfit today. Haydn was also in purple too. We were the purple people eaters! HA!! The picture of Haydn and Marcia, Haydn is trying to do the YMCA!! Haydn is such a bold little girl but she was scared when the blow up characters would come on the floor!! She is funny!

Stella's 4th Birthday Party
Stella had her b-day party today. The theme was Fancy Nancy. Hannah, Stella and Haydn wore their petti-skirts mom made them that we took to the Ozarks last Sept. The party was a lot of fun. She got a lot of fun gifts. I tried to capture a picture of Hannah feeding Porter ice cream, but taking it towards the window, it doesn't show up all that well. Wes took Haydn home for a afternoon nap. Hannah stayed over at Kayren's. Mom, Kayren, Hannah, Stella and I went shopping for awhile. Came back to her house played outside, what a beautiful day. Wes brought Haydn back over. U Mark stopped by, we ordered pizza and ate outside. It was a fun day/night.

Happy St Patty's Day
We headed downtown for the St Patrick's Day parade today. Kayren and kids went too. It is a beautiful day here (low 70's). I had never been to the parade before. It was probably 1.5 hrs long. They didn't throw out much candy just mainly beads. The kids had a good time. Porter was there, he just chose not to be in the group photo.

I Wish Time Would Stand Still......
I do, but I know it can't. Wes and I attended a Kindergarten Round-Up meeting for parents tonight. The Kindergarten teachers were introduced tonight. We got to tour the classrooms. It was fun to see where Hannah will be next Fall. Just hard to believe she is old enough to go (well actually she could of went last year, but we are REALLY glad we didn't send her). She has a lot of preschool friends that will attend Kindergarten there also. Including Hannah, there will be 3 girls from our street going next year also. Now I can already guarantee I will be BAWLING on the first day of school. The next year will bring A LOT of changes for Hannah, Wes and I. It will be fun, I am looking forward to the next chapter in her life! Really I am, I just might not show it the first week of school.
