I believe Haydn's afternoon nap is over. The past 3 weeks or so when she goes down for a nap (which she goes down SO easily) she then fights going to bed at night. When it is time to go to sleep she is up until 10:00 sometimes or even later. I just don't understand, that during the afternoon when I would put her down she falls asleep with no problem but then doesn't want to go to bed at night?! I have had someone taking a afternoon nap in this house for over 6 yrs. So this will be a BIG adjustment to me more than Haydn. She is going on 3 1/2 years so I knew this time would be coming sooner than I wanted it to. Hannah gave up her PM nap the summer she was turning 4. I knew this was my last summer with Haydn napping.
Along with this Haydn has been getting out of her bed at night. If you remember previous post about her calling for me to come and get her. Yes, she has done this for almost a year. She will call for me most morning to come and get her out of bed. She was moved to her twin bed a year ago. All good things must end, right?

Sounds like Munchkin's aft naps are a thing of the past!! She should go down easy in the evening though. Or just turn out like me and be a night owl!!
yep, I'd totally stop the naps in order to have quiet time with both girls asleep at night! i'm sure P will be giving up his nap b/4 he is 3! porter now refuses to sit in his booster seat, so i think that is now our "thing of the past".
I feel for you, Sara! I am still trying to adjust to Caden not taking naps! But we have found that bed time is now much easier with him and he would sleep for 12 hours if he could! Hopefully this will be the same for Haydn!
