Trick-or-Treating

Tonight was trick or treating in Waukee (and I believe most of Des Moines). We headed into Marcia's first thing and then came back and walked our neighborhood. Wes took the girls this year, I got to stay here, hand out candy and listen to all the GOOD jokes HA! Hannah enjoyed handing out candy when she got back. I tried hard to get a good shot of Haydn but as you can tell after a few attempts I gave up!!

CUTE photos!! :) We definitely lucked out this year with the awesome weather. I left a bowl of big bowl of candy at our door and it was all gone by the time we got back from Uncle Marks! GRRRR. I'm sure a couple older kids took it all! Oh well!

Haydn is so cute!! Certainly wasn't wanting her pic taken!! She does have a mind of her own!! That's too bad about your candy, KJ! It was a super nite to be out. Knew that Hannah would have fun handing out candy!

The girls look darling - they must have made a pretty good haul.
We have T&T tomorrow night and I am worried about having enough candy. It is so dark here early that the kids all have to T&T in the dark. Tommy the boy next door wanted to work on a costume tonight so he came over looking for face paint. Haven't had that in years!!!!!!!!!!

What totally cute girls! Love the skirts. We are going to put candy out at our door tonight. We are going to some neighbors for a trick or treat party...code word for park the men in lounge chairs with bowls of candy and beer to hand out candy while the women take the kids trick or treating. WHATEVER! I am trying to be a little sensitive since TJ did his manly dutey this week! :-)

It was the perfect night for trick-or-treating! I told Cass to remember that I took the kids this year so next year when it's cold and snowy it is his turn :0) The picture of Haydn looking over the porch rail is very cute!
