friend birthday party

Hannah had her 1st friend birthday party tonight. We ate pizza here and then went swimming, what a perfect night for that! We came back here had a big chocolate chip cookie and some ice cream. She opened her gifts and they are now watching a movie! Wonder when they will fall asleep! Can't believe she will be 7 tomorrow!

Dentist Appointment

The 3 of us had Dentist appts today. Haydn finally sat in the chair today. We tried a year ago and she would not have anything to do with it. Six months ago when Hannah and I went back, Haydn was gone for the day. Haydn was alittle scared to start off with but after watching Hannah and I she was OK with her appt. We all 3 got good reports so we will go back in six months.

Chicago

I headed out on Thursday for M/D weekend. Anna Leigh flew in from Raleigh. We left Waukee at 5:30 AM and was able to pick AL up from the airport. We ate lunch at a fun Mexican restaurant and started shopping on Michigan Ave right away. We packed alot in on our weekend getaway. We went to the beach, Sears Tower (now is called Willis Tower), Historical Water tour, Millennium Park and navy Pier. We walked A LOT!! It was a fun weekend. This is our 12th year of doing this. It is something I look forward to every year.
