Joan and Kendall's wedding

Joan and Kendall got married last night. Their ceremony was BEAUTIFUL! Joan is an VERY organized person. I think she thought of everything! Joan and Kendall are a perfect match! It is one of those weddings that you go home from wanting to make your own relationship that much better! I have never been happier for a couple to get married! I could go on and on about how much Joan means to me! She is one of my best friends!! The only thing I am upset about is that I didn't get a snapshot of Joan and I!

Last night was rehearsal for Joan and Kendall's wedding. Amy and I chose to give them their gift last night. We wanted to see them open it. I know I have talked to many of you about the gift so I wanted to post some pictures so you could see the finished project!

slip n slide fun

We pulled out the slip n slide today. The girls had a good time going down at the same time. Wes is also in the process of sanding the swingset and he will stain it afterwards. Looks so much better already!

Hannah's last day of 1st Grade

Hannah had her last day of 1st grade yesterday. The school had a field day in the afternoon. I walked over to see her doing some of the games. She really had a great school year. I am so proud of her and all accomplishments. She is a great reader and truly loves school. I hope she gets lucky and gets another wonderful teacher for 2nd grade!

I had a baceball game last night. My mom, my dad and granma came. And I did not have to hit off the T ones. WWHO!! And I am the Pfillys. And for all the rounds I hit the ball hard, and I hit it so hard that i hert my hand. OW. and after the game they gave out one doller bills and we all went to the kensushun stand. I got skitols and five peices of bubble gum. After that we went to the Pizza Ranch from Pizza Ranch I got one piece of cheese pizza, and three pikils, and macorony and cheese.

With the school year ending, Hannah has been bringing home some of her work each day this week. I love how she spells some words correct and some words how they sound! Here are a couple of her stories!

Chapter 1
I went to the Iowa Energy basketball game. I went with my sisder, granma and steve. The points were... 120, 125. Then me and my sisder got bord so we went in the bouncehouse. We played in there for 5 minets. Then went back to watch the game and... Guss What!? We WON! we were so happy! And to watch the game we got to sit up high in a box. We got to watch the cherledders dance 2 times.
Chapter 2
Frist I went to the YMCA. I sall Paige M there. We played on the scoters. Then we went in to the nursery. We colord pictures. Then we played house. Then it was time to go home and eat lunch.
Chpater 3
We went to Monkey Joes. Me and my sisder Haydn went on the blowups. My faivret blowup was the one that had the skiny slide. Then we ate pitzza YUM! Then we went to the movie thudor to see Gnomeio and Juliet. It was about little gnomios. My faivret part was when the frog was day dreaming that she had a boyfriend. Next we went to a park. There was an opsikol corse. That was my faivret thing at the park. There were swings there and a slide. Then it was tiem to go home. When we got home I got to play with a friend.
Chapter 4
I went to the Montair prade. And guss what? I WAS IN IT! IN sted of trowing candy we throwed neclses. WE started at the nrusing home and ended at the square. Me, my sisder my cousin Stella and Porter were in it to. We decorated the car with streamrs. It was a Blast!
Chapter 5
I went to my cousins birthday party. We had donets and juice. Then it was time for magic tricks! And I pimpt Stella's arm and quarters came out. Then we ate at wenndy's. I LOVE there frys YUM! I got choklet milk, frys and chikin nuggets.

Haydn's New Trick

Haydn and Porter went to Mt Ayr on Thursday night and came back yesterday morning. While Haydn was in MA she learned how to ride a bike without training wheels. She called me while at Nana and Papa's and was so proud of herself! Mom said it took her 20 minutes or so to get the hang of it and then she was a pro after that. She has enjoyed showing us her new trick and can even stand and peddle!!  Way to go Haydn!

A Little Girl Named Anna

Found this in a notebook of Hannah's.  Too cute not to share....

Ounce upon a time there was a girl named Anna. She lived in a little cotedge on the east side of a hill. She loved butterflys and catupillers. But out of all she liked the bloming roses at the top of the hill.
And one time she went to the top of the hill to see her faivret roses. and when she went to the top of the hill she herd a sound she jumped and then she herd it again. She was scard so she ran home an told her mom. Her mom said it was probly just a bird. But Anna said NO it was not. It sounded like a ratle noise. She screamed Ahhhh. and she never went back there.
By the time she had talked to her mom about it. it was time for bed.

Last Day at HTP!

Haydn's last day of preschool was today. They were to go to a park, but since it rained they had to stay at school. They had fun things to do on the last day. Hard to believe she is done with preschool, on to Kindergarten now!! 

Blank Park Zoo

Yesterday Hannah had her field trip to the zoo. The weather was perfect! Hannah got the ride the school bus there and also had a picnic lunch before going into the zoo. I had Hannah and Briuanna in my small group. Part of the zoo is under construction which the girls didn't seem to mind!

Haydn the Graduate

Today Haydn graduated from Happy Time Preschool. These pictures posted out of order, but as you can tell we went to Pizza Ranch for lunch. We gave Haydn a small gift.

I did tear up before she was walking in and while she was walking in. She is looking forward to Kindergarten SO much! I know she will LOVE it!

Mother's Day Poem

Haydn gave me my Mother's Day gift yesterday (she was excited, she actually opened if for me too!).  One was a picture of her with a flower she drew. Then this poem.
