Bucs game

Tonight the girls and I went to the Des Moines Buccaneers vs Sioux City Musketeers. It was a great game it went into overtime and then a shootout. Bucs lost 4 to 5. Haydn wanted to leave early, but I am glad we stayed for the whole thing!

Fire Safety Month

HTP class

At HTP today firemen came to talk about fire safety. The men and women showed the kids some of their equipment and talked about ways to protect yourself from a fire. The kids got to tour the fire truck and the police car as well. As the trucks were leaving they put their light and sirens on, I believe this was the kids favorite part of the visit!

Point of Grace Carnival

This afternoon Point of Grace Church (Haydn's preschool) had a carnival. They had face painting, crafts, inflatables, pumpkins for sale and games. The girls had a great time. It even seemed warm outside, today was to be 82! I will take it though, for snow will be falling before you know it!

We headed down to Howell's this afternoon. Beautiful day to be at the pumpkin patch. The girls had a great time.

Haydn and I headed out to Jordan Creek to feed the ducks today. What another BEAUTIFUL fall day we are having. Feels more like summer weather! We had a good time walking around the water.

dance class

On Wednesdays Haydn participates in a dance class through the YMCA. Today was the last class for this session. Parents were invited to come to the last 5 min and dance with their child. We danced the Hokey Pokey and Thumbs Up, Elbows Out! She really enjoyed the class. In these pictures she is dancing to a song about bean bags.
