Disney on Ice

Marcia, the girls and I went to Disney on Ice tonight. I believe it is our 4 yr doing this. It was a beautiful show. Haydn really got into the show this year. We had great seats too.

We headed over to Kayren's for turkey and all the fixings today. We had some really good food. They kids all played really well. They had their own table. They even got to eat on the real china. Kayren had made personalized napkin rings for each of us with our pictures on them. Very cute.

Fun Weekend

Haydn was hiding behind the stroller at the point. She HATES clowns.

We headed over to Davenport Friday after Hannah got out of school. Geoff came down from Minnesota also. Marcia and the 3 boys headed to the Hawkeye football game Saturday. Natalie, I and the 4 kids headed downtown Davenport to a parade. We sat where it ended, the kids got restless before it even started, the older 3 had to all go to the bathroom. Then they weren't really interested in watching the parade. We saw part of it, it reminded me of the Macy's Day parade. It had quite a few big balloons. We got to meet Owen for the first time too. He is the BEST baby. I never did hear him in cry ONCE. Haydn had the best time holding him, making sure he had his pacifier at all times. The weather was gorgeous too. We got to play outside a lot also.

painting, painting and more painting...

Mom came up a week ago Sunday and painted Hannah's room lavender. She has been asking for a purple room ever since Stella got a purple room. Hannah loves it. I started in on the hallway, we also painted the kitchen, living room and entryway. We painted Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We painted everything a lighter green color and then the accent wall is light and darker shade of green. We still need to hang a mirror and some pictures on the striped wall, but I have had people asking for pictures so here you go. We also got new curtains in the living room and then took down the vertical blinds on the slider in the dining room and put up the same curtains. It is all coming together. We have painted the whole upper level within the last 18 months!

Overnight Guest

Stella spent the night last night with us. It was a lot of fun. All three girls got along really well. We made mini pizzas for supper. Wes put up our tent in the basement, they played and watched a movie in there for the longest time. When it was time to go to bed Stella decided she didn't want to sleep in there. So we all came back upstairs. Stella ended up in Haydn's bed. Hannah in her own bed and then Haydn ended up in my bed after a few attempts getting her settled down. This morning we all headed up to the YMCA for their open house. The YMCA mascot was there for pictures you could decorate a picture frame for you picture. They had a bounce house, giant slide, a table where you could string necklaces with beads, cooking classes and many more things going on to. They had green/red apples, chocolate/strawberry milk also. Giant slide pics are blurry, I never could get a good picture! Kinda cool though!

New Look

Mom came up Sunday night. She painted Hannah's room lavender Monday. We have also been busy with the hallway, kitchen, living room and entryway. I will post pictures of that once it is all done. Hannah loves her room. We also rearranged her bedroom furniture. There are still some small touches to do to her room. She loves it and that is all the matters! It is hard to tell in the pictures that color of the room but before it was a pink/coral color. Pretty bright!

Perfect Fall Day

It is a BEAUTIFUL Fall day here today, it is 72 but feels A LOT warmer. The girls and I headed to a park in Clive that we have been to once before. What a PERFECT day to play outside. I believe tomorrow is to be as nice!

Haydn and I headed to our small neighborhood playground this afternoon. It is going to be a beautiful weekend here, weather wise. Will be in the 70's!! YEA!
