Crop Duster

I believe that is what they are called. Anyway, we had one right outside our house this afternoon. We still have a few farm fields next to us, they are building a new Elementary across the street from us so that took away the majority of the farm fields. The girls and I had fun watching the plane spray the field.

Chuck E Cheese

Hannah picked Chuck E Cheese for lunch today. Grandma Marcia, Great G-ma Bev and Great G-pa Jim were there also. Both girls had a fun time playing the games. Hannah is now Birthday shopping for school clothes with Grandma Marcia. Will be anxious to see what all Hannah picks out.

Happy 6th Birthday, Hannah!

yes, she is wearing snow boots in August. Sometimes I just don't ask "silly" questions!

Is she pretending she is posing for Senior pictures?

Hannah turns 6 today!! She will be starting Kindergarten a week from today. She is ready for school. The summer has flown by (don't they always). I am looking forward to what this next year brings for us. A whole new chapter in our lives, school concerts, new best friends, learning to read and many more I am sure.

It is hard to believe you are six already, really where did the time go..?? I am excited for what Kindergarten will bring for you! Looking forward to the good, bad and the ugly. I know you will learn A LOT in school. You loved preschool, I have no doubt you will do awesome with Kindergarten. You are more than ready.

Now I am a mom of a Kindergartner!! YEAH!!
This morning when she woke up I told her Happy 6th Birthday! She is excited for her special day. She sat in a kitchen chair and said, "mom, I am taller than I was yesterday"!
P.S. I typed this up yesterday thinking I would be rushing around this morning, bummed that is posted as the 11th and not the 12th! Today is her birthday!!

Slip N Slide

Today was a hot day! We bought a slip n slide a couple days ago. I had the thought of getting one for Hannah's birthday but Wes mentioned it to Hannah before I had the chance to tell him. It worked out better anyway, with today being warm and Eliott is here visiting. Marcia is watching him for a few days. I headed over to Williamsburg today shopping with my mom and Kayren. Wes took these pictures of the kids today.

Adventureland

The 4 of us went to Adventureland this morning. It was a lot of fun to see what rides the girls love, since they have a season pass with Marcia and Steve. Haydn is quite the dare devil. Wes and Haydn went on the log ride. Hannah had no interest. Well then I think Hannah thought if Haydn could do it then she could. So we all went. Well Hannah and Wes were in the front so they got the most wet. It was a fun day as a family.

National Night Out

Our street participated in National Night Out tonight. It was a beautiful night, met some new people that live on 4th Street. The police and fire truck came. The girls got to tour the fire truck. McGruff was here too. Haydn was PETRIFIED of him! Love the street we live on!!

Nail Art

Part of what Aunt Anna, Uncle Pat and Vada gave Hannah for her Birthday was a gift card to Claire's. She and I went one day last week she had A LOT of fun walking around looking at things, picking things up, putting them down, the same thing for 30 minutes I kid you not. It was SO fun seeing what she was interested in. She ended up with some eye shadow and two different things of fingernail stickers. Today we did her nails. The pictures are sort of blurry I tried to get close-ups so the stickers would show up. I think you will get the idea!!

Nature Trail

Mom, Hannah, Haydn, Vada and I walked the nature trail yesterday morning. We did all 4 miles. Hannah refused to ride her bike so we had a double stroller and a single stroller. Hannah was in the single. Well she was so tired from her YMCA camp she did last week that she slept most of it(she slept the whole way to MA on Friday too). The first 2 miles weren't bad. It was coming back which made mom and I tired. The double stroller is not the lightest thing to begin with. Vada slept the whole way down and part of the way back. Mom and I would trade off pushing the strollers. Vada would put her face right up to the mesh. It looked so funny!! Mom and I got more of a workout than we expected!

Visiting Vada

(no AL, Vada was not riding with her, just posed for a picture)

Anna Leigh flew out to Colorado for a concert, mom and dad are watching Vada. The girls and I headed down Friday to spend the weekend with her. The girls were in her face quite a bit yesterday if I told them once I told them a HUNDRED times to not touch her, not pick her up, leave her alone. Today was better. I think the newness of her being there had worn off. She is SO easy going! Did I mention how easy of a baby she is? I thought my girls were good babies. Vada brings that to a whole new level! Mt Ayr has a ice cream truck that drives around town. We were lucky enough for it to stop at the house. Haydn got a Dora ice cream bar and Hannah got a Lifesaver popsicle. Brittany, Filson and Ian are also in MA for a couple weeks. Ian is a perfect baby also. Never heard a peep out of him either. Haydn and Vada also have matching tank tops. Tried a couple times to get a good shot of them together. Haydn somehow scratched her chin. The scratch was the size of a pinhead. She insisted she had a band-aid!!
